Giants of Venice
Handbuilt terracotta sculptures (up to 0.5 m)—originally modeled on Venetian buildings but warped by aesthetic—animate a disorienting surrounding. The film channels grief and alienation tied to a changing sense of home and a family member’s late‑stage dementia, using distorted architecture and jittery motion to mirror the slow grievance and effect of the illness.
